The Re-Member Class at St. Alban's

 On October 23rd we will have a special Sunday.  We will have one service that day at 4pm celebrated by Bishop Reed followed by a parish dinner.  During that service we will have the opportunity to receive new members into the church or current members can reaffirm their faith if they desire.

Reception is a beautiful and meaningful way to say you are renewing your commitment to follow Jesus and this parish is the place you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus.  It is a step we ask people to make before serving on church leadership or participating in certain ministries like reading Scripture in worship. 

In the lead up to his visit we will have a 4-week class called the Re-Member class.  The Re-Member class is for:

•  Anyone from another Christian tradition that wants to be Received at St. Alban’s into the Episcopal Church . 
• Anyone looking to reaffirm their faith 
• Anyone wanting a refresher in some of the basics of the church, our tradition, and the way we pray and worship together.
